Beast Mode

This page contains more detailed information about Rayu's Beast mode 

Rayu's Beast mode is the mode which unleashes the evil side of both, werewolf and dragon creatures inside Rayu.

Requirements:  

  • At least Werewolf Mode & Moonlight (needs to be outside)
  • Daytime Mode can go into Beast Mode as well. However, this is complex and needs a magical energy trigger and lots of energy for it to work 

Trigger:  

  • Anger
  • Black Magic (like in "The Order") 

Description:
As he gets angry he tries to absorb more moon energy in order to get stronger to be able to protect his friends. By overdoing that and absorbing too much energy, his seal will explode and causes him to change into the Beast Mode, which denies him any control of himself. He's fully controlled by the destructive moon energy which causes his killing and werewolf instincts to dominate his actions, his judgement (=his way of thinking, discerning friends from foes, so everything is an enemy) and his normally kind personality. There still is some free space before the seal is exploding. This is indicated by a pulsing red color of the indicators on Rayu. Therefore, he can absorb a bit more energy without any problems.  

After the seal has exploded:
As the seal explodes he loses his standing and falls back. He then is stunned / shocked by the explosion. He doesn't lose its consciousness but it takes him some seconds to get back up. 

The mode change is triggered as soon as the seal explodes. Rayu is falling to the ground and the moon energy instantly begins to take over his mind. Because of that, he loses control of his own mind. 

As soon as the moon energy has fully taken control of his mind and while Rayu is laying on the ground and is stunned, his appearance begins to change into the BM.  

Red eyes / red breath:

  • Eyes will glow completely red
  • Red breath will be visible if fire is about to be unleashed 

How Rayu feels:
He's absolutely frightened of this mode and tries to hide it as good as possible. Just thinking about the damage he could possibly do to others caused him a cold shiver on his back. Therefore, he prefers not to talk about this mode at all. It is noticeable that he regrets ever having reached this mode when you bring up the Beast Mode. If the mode gets triggered anyways, he tries to warn the others of the lurking danger. In full panic, Rayu advises the others to run as far as they can and tries his best to protect his friends as long as he is not yet completely mind-controlled by the moon energy and instincts, as he had sworn to do. If he has triggered it in order to protect his friends he accepts the risk of dealing way too much damage to others more than as he's forced to change into the mode. Still, he tries to not harm Guily at all, as he's responsible that Rayu's still alive. He tries to suppress any killing instincts near Guily. Which can be tough from time to time, as he's controlled by the moon energy AND his werewolf instincts…)

By the inner will to protect his (weaker) friends, he tries to keep the control over himself with all possible means, so that he does not hurt them unintentionally or even worse... He could never forgive himself for that.)

  • Kann sich nach dem Beast Mode an nichts mehr erinnern, was in dieser Form passiert ist. 
  • Gleichzeitig fehlen auch vereinzelt Stücke der Geschehnisse, bevor der Mode getriggert  wurde.
  • Je länger die Rückverwandlung her ist, desto besser kann sich Rayu wieder dran erninnern
